PNG Hunters name squad to face Tweed Heads Seagulls

THE SP PNG Hunters have named an extended squad of 20 players for the Round Seven match against Tweed Heads Seagulls at the Kalabond Oval this Saturday.

The team with two to be omitted later in the week when the side travels to Kokopo, has seen the return of strike centre Thompson Teteh.

Teteh was ruled out, on doctors advice, due to a bad concussion sustained during the round five 20-20 draw against Easts Tigers away.

He was rested during last week’s 25-12 loss to Ipswich Jets and his return is timely as the Hunters look to bounce back against the Seagulls.

The visitors scored a grinding 12-8 win over reigning premiers Mackay Cutters last weekend and will be another test for the Hunters this weekend.

The SP PNG Hunters on 7 points have worked hard on the areas, which let them down in last week’s match and are eager to get back to the winners circle

The squad (with two to be omitted) is:

1. Adex Wera
2. Garry Lo
3. Thompson Teteh
4. Albert Patak
5. George Benson
6. Israel Eliab ©
7. Roger Laka
