Scott Prince named as PNG Games ambassador

Scot Prince officially introduced as an ambassador of PNG Games
SCOTT Prince managed more than eight hours of flying from Australia to Lae, to be officially introduced as an ambassador for the sixth PNG Games coinciding with the launching of the corporate sponsorship package by the games host organising committee.
The other official games ambassador and the game’s greatest find is Toea Wisil, who is in Australia, training for the Commonwealth Games.
Chairman of the PNG games HOC Phil Franklin also announced during the night that Australian R&B and pop singer, songwriter, and actress Jessica Mauboy will also be engaged as a the biggest entertainer along with local acts Jokema and K-Dumen.
He also announced that transportation for all athletes to and from game venues will be free.
Prince also the games concept for its massive personal development on athletes and pointed out fellow ambassador Wisil, as a great product of the game.
The former West Tigers premiership player added that Wisil is one of the fastest women athlete he has seen during the Olympics and joked that she could make a great winger for the Tigers.
“I think it is a wonderful opportunity, the PNG Games is providing this opportunity for PNG to represent the country in the Olympics,” Prince said.
Governor Naru said because of the involvement of Prince who is a sporting icon in Australia, the private sector especially in Morobe province was able to secure good packages and deals with partners during the Australia-PNG Business Forum recently held in Australia. The National
