PNG Estern Stars Football Club recruit international players

The Eastern Stars Football Club have bolstered their 2013 and 14 season campaign with the recruitment of Jack Whitney from Armicale FC in Vanuatu and three other Solomon Islanders who will be joining the club early next week.

Eastern Stars FC Founder and Franchise Owner Joseph Ealedona revealed this when speaking to the media following their sponsorship announcement by Huawei Technologies today.

Mr. Ealedona said the club has already spoken to another big name Armicale FC player from Vanuatu, but they are still waiting for him to get his release from the club, before they could release any names.

He said the team for this year will also feature five local Alotau players who they believe will learn a lot from these International players, and also feature prominently during the season.

Mr. Ealedona also announced that they have also acquired the services of former Hekari United FC player and now coachTrevor Ire, who will now be coaching the Eastern Stars FC team.

He said Trevor will bring with him a lot of inside information on how this champion club has been run, and they believe they can be more than competitive against them this season.
