SP PNG Hunters Roar to 30-12 Victory Over Northern Pride in Port Moresby Showdown

 In an electrifying showdown at the National Football Stadium in Port Moresby, the SP PNG Hunters clinched a resounding 30-12 victory over the Northern Pride. From the opening whistle, the Hunters demonstrated their attacking prowess, netting a series of impressive tries. Sanny Wabo kicked off the scoring spree at the 15-minute mark, followed by Alex Max, who found the try line at the 25th minute. Finley Glare added to the tally with a skillful try at the 39th minute, while Benji Kot and Elijah Roltinga sealed the deal with tries at the 44th and 79th minutes respectively.



Despite a spirited effort from the Northern Pride, who managed to notch two early tries courtesy of Braidon Burns at the 2nd and 7th minutes, they struggled to keep pace with the relentless attack of the Hunters. Thomas Duffy also contributed to the Pride's scoreline with successful conversion kicks at the 4th and 8th minutes.


The Hunters' victory was further bolstered by the flawless kicking performance of Finley Glare, who expertly converted all of their tries, adding crucial points to their total at the 26th, 39th, 45th, and 79th minutes. The SP PNG Hunters' dominant display thrilled the home crowd and secured a well-deserved triumph over the Northern Pride.
