Stars John Sutton and Akuila Uate will feature for the Vodafone Fiji Bati side in the Rugby League World Cup in England next month.
The star duo, who play for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Newcastle Knights respectively, together with Saru Dragons forward Peni Botiki take up the remaining three spots in the side.
Fiji National Rugby League operations manager Tomi Finau says they can finally breathe with a sigh of relief after receiving the news.
“Vodafone Fiji Bati coach Rick Stone finally released the names of the last three players that will be joining the Vodafone Fiji Bati to the Rugby League World Cup. That is John Sutton, Akuila Uate and Peni Botiki. Those three players finally make up the 24 player squad that will represent Fiji to the World Cup in England.”
Meanwhile, Parramatta Eels star Jarryd Hayne is certain to miss out on selection and may represent the Australia Kangaroos in the world meet next month.
