PNG Hunters down Falcons in thriller

SP Hunters ended their losing streak with a thrilling one point win over Falcons today in Kokopo.

Hunters won 25 - 24.

Hunters went into the game with a much needed win after a string of losses. Hunters captain Israel Eliab proved his leadership as he lead his charges from the front.

At halftime Hunters led 18 - 12, Falcons came back strong in the second half but the home side managed to hold them off with the field goal.
