Radradra walks out on Eels
EELS flyer Semi Radradra has shocked the NRL by walking out on the club to play rugby union in France.
Only a matter of months ago Radradra made his debut for Australia in the ANZAC Test but he looks to have played his last game of rugby league.
Radradra has told the Eels he is leaving the club to play in France and has left the country to return home to Fiji.
The Eels have not accepted his decision but have said they would be willing to negotiate.
The Eels flyer is contracted to the club for next season and Parramatta expect him to be with the team for the remainder of this season and next.
In a startling development the Eels are believed to have offered Radradra the opportunity to play in France from August until the next NRL season commences.
However they expect Radradra to extend his deal by another three years if he accepts that deal.
The news is reminiscent of Sonny-Bill Williams decision to leave the Bulldogs for Toulon in 2008.
