PM’S XIII: AUSTRALIAN KANGAROOS ARRIVE IN PNG

The Laurie Daley coached Prime Minister’s XIII team arrived in the country to meet Team Kumul selected side at the Kalabond Stadium this Sunday.
The Australian side arrived this morning for a much anticipated match that will determine the players for both teams to book a spot in the national teams for the Rugby League World cup.    
Among the team is the Holden Kangaroos coach Tim Sheens. He will be looking out to scout players for the Australian Kangaroos side.
Parramatta Eels Jarryd Hayne will be playing fullback in this match under the leadership of Gold Coast Titan’s Greg Bird who is not new to PNG.
Amid this football playmakers is the message ‘Strong men respect women. It is important men treat their spouse, sisters and daughters with respect and have equal participation in the community. 
Three prominent Broncos playmakers were also scouted in for this match. Corey Parker, Sam Thaiday and Matt Gillett will have to leave a mark at the Kalabond oval. 
It was known as the graveyard for any visiting teams but for this match, it will be a showdown for both teams to impress coaches to wear their respective jumpers.        
The team transited to Kokopo and will involve in activities scheduled for tomorrow before the big day.
This match is viewed as an important selection trial for both sides for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
