Samoa announces Four Nations Train-on Squad
SAMOA have announced a premliminary train-on squad ahead of this year’s Four Nations Tournament.
Coach Matt Parish has selected a 24-man side made up of players not contesting the finals.
Each week during the finals players will be added from the sides eliminated from the competition.
“I’m looking forward to getting the guys back together again for this tournament,” Parish said.
“We have been able to pick some exciting players in the train-on squad and we will be able to add some outstanding talent over the course of the NRL finals.
“I’m certainly confident of what we can do in the Four Nations. We aim to be very competitive against strong opposition and showcase some of the great talent we have.
“This is a great opportunity for not only our experienced players but also our younger players, who have a chance to set themselves up for long club and representative careers.”
The 24- man squad will be finalised on October 6.
